Finding Inspiration!

You never know where you will find inspiration!  I am always amazed at that...finding inspiration in some of the oddest places!  This can and will happen in all aspects of your life...but this day the inspiration came from shopping with the hubby!  I know! Can you believe it!  My hubby shops like most husbands...
know what you want,
go into the store,
locate the item,
purchase,
and out the door.
Can I have an amen?!!

But back to inspiring me...
We were shopping for fishin' stuff in one of those sports places! Y'all know what I mean...line, worms, rods, reels, etc. and the hubby became involved in all the "stuff" available sooooo I wandered off to explore....AND that's where I found the inspiration..right there on the FLOOR!

Beautiful, wide plank, rough cut, planks!! It made a wonderful floor!  Also it would look fantastic in a lake or mountain home!
No hubby peeking around to find me...so I kept exploring and found...

So many are using the antlers in their home and I thought this little lamp was so cute.  The tables were unusual too.  Look at some of the details...

So pretty, so unusual, so different!  So inspiring...

Oh, oh, there's the hubby...wait until I tell him what we can do with this pile of wood we have in the backyard!!

Wishing our #1 son a very happy birthday!!  God blessed us with a wonderful son!  We are so thankful for him and proud of him!!
See ya down the junkin' road!!

Ha! I know where you went. (She said in a sing-song fashion.) They have to be working on giving the women something to look at and drool over while not offending the guys with girly stuff. Make them think it's still their manly man, Grisly Adams store. I'd love to see y'all do a floor with the pile of wood. That would be the best project e-vah.

Isn't it funny where you'll find inspiration? I love those floors too! Recently my husband pointed out a stack of pallets! He was actually suggesting we go back and get them! Could have knocked me over with a feather! LOL! But I still couldn't talk him into letting me put them in the back of my car. For some reason he felt we needed the truck.

Love that antler lamp! My son found a set of antlers in the backyard a few years ago! I was thrilled!

Don't ya just love those hunting/fishing stores??? Been there, done that...and will probably do it some more. But turn about is fair play as my hubby often goes shopping with me and never once complains. He's a people-watcher and enjoys sitting in the mall waiting for me...or either he just takes a nap in the car!

I love wood floors, and have them throughout our home. I so wish I had that pile of wood. So many possibilities. My hubs likes to shop so no problem there. Can't wait to see what you do with the scraps. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration with Sunday's Best!
