The Fog Is Lifting

"Wait 'til the darkness is over, Wait 'til the tempest is done,..." (Alice Hawthorne)

The fog has surrounded us...

The devastation in Alabama has kept my mind and heart actively supporting the recovery and cleanup efforts this week so no time for blogging! I want to give a big shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the many individuals, organizations, churches, schools and states that have sent supplies, money and support to the tornado ravaged areas. You can go to any news outlet and read the wonderful stories of neighbors helping neighbors. One of the ones I think tells the true story is of the little child... (may I paraphrase) after watching a television news broadcast of the tornado victims in Tuscaloosa he turned to his parents and said 'take all my money and send to these folks'. He had been saving for a go-cart!

There is no easy way to overcome sorrow.  Kind words, thoughtful expressions, quite support; all loving expressions to help ease the broken hearted.

"Grace comes into the soul, as the morning sun into the world; first a dawning; then a light; and at last the sun in its full and excellent brightness." (Thomas Adams)

The fog is lifting, the sun is breaking...we still have a "long row to hoe" (grandparent's words of wisdom!) but we will get there...maybe not tomorrow, or next month; it may take years but we will get there!

Have a Blessed Day!! And see ya down the junkin' road!!
