"Why?", you ask.
Because in this thrifty, the little table was being used in... a make-shift dressing room area!
Next to it was a mirror and chair!
Very convenient! And very lucky for me because no one, and I mean NO ONE, was looking under all that stuff for tables! No one but me, that is!!
I grabbed that little cutie up, slapped it in the buggy, and headed to the check-out!
Along the way many stopped me to ask where I had found the little table!
Or the all important question, was I going to buy that!
Well I managed to get it in the car without further questions!!
On the way home the wheels were turning in my brain... what to do, what to do!
I really like the stained wood top look mixed with shabby paint, but really this one was beyond saving for stain! Unless I spent way more time on the make-over than I wanted to spend!

So it was decided... PAINT!!
Not happy, not happy...still looking for that stained wood look...
sooooo..
I painted the top in a rich deep chocolate color!!
(Did y'all notice my use of candy colors? Yes, the niece and nephew have been visiting!)
Now I'm happy! After a little distressing, waxing and buffing, the 'cutie' is ready for her debut!
What have you restyled lately?
Have a Blessed Day!! And see ya down the junkin' road!!

This turned out great, Jan! Lucky find.
Well I haven't restyled a thing but I'm loving your table. The two tone look is a winner. I haven't been to my Goodwill since summer. You've inspired me to perhaps stop in and see what I can find!
What a fabulous table--- don't you just love it when someone asks you if your going to buy it? No... I'm just walking around with it in my cart to keep me company lol... dummies :-P
That table is so pretty! Love it. Just wanted to let you know I passed the Versatile Blogger Award on to you. Hope you're having a great weekend. xo
