Hearts for the Luvs

(Vintage Valentine Museum)

We are blessed with two luvs who come to visit with us.  Our nephew is 10 years old, very intelligent, loves all sports, but especially loves...ALABAMA football!! So I will refer to him as 'Big AL' on my blog!

His younger sister is six years old, truly a baby doll, loves all things girly, gymnastics and... The University of ALABAMA!   I'll name her 'Princess Bama' and she will wear this tiara!!

Now that you have the history lesson...our two luvs really,  REALLY love breakfast at the lake!  It is a major production!
Seriously!!  Since they visit on weekends or vacation days,  breakfast is really more like brunch!
Y'all know what I'm talkin' about...milk, bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, fruit, and on and on...

No, I didn't make the heart shaped pancakes! Mine looked more like these...haha!! Maybe Aunt Jemima needs to visit!!!

With February 14th just around the corner, I wanted this breakfast extra special....festive, with red, white, and pink with hearts!

Princess Bama loves to sit at the bar and talk while we cook!  (She tells me all the school gossip!)

Big AL, on the other hand, just wants to hurry because he knows the fish are just waiting on him to catch 'em!!

(Our lake is known for great bass fishing!)

The bar was set for two and both enjoyed their valentine breakfast...(the candy is for after fishin')

Recently I participated in DebbieDoos Copy Challenge...

Wishing you a happy holiday and leaving you with candlelight and roses for your special valentine meal!

See ya down the junkin' road!!

Happy Pink Saturday Jan Sweetie...
Oh what a gorgeous share. I feel as though I know Big Al and Princess Bama by your descriptions. Your write so vividly. It was so much fun to read your write today.

Your pancakes look so yummy. I love pancakes, with syrup, and when said biscuits and gravy. Oh Lordy I just about jumped out of my chair. I love good old Southern cooking. Does it get any better than that?

Bass fishing, I grew up on that. My Daddy has always been a bass fisherman and we had a fish fry every single summer with all of his catches for the season. So tasty. I can't imagine living on a lake where you can just catch your meal. How fun that must be.

Jan I am your newest follower, as I can't wait to see what you write next. I have so enjoyed my visit today. Have a glorious weekend and Happy Valentine's Day as well. Country hugs, Sherry
