A Tween's Dilemma?

My friend's daughter has been updating her bedroom.  She is a "tween" and wants a more 'grown-up' look but still playful!

So today we've looked at headboards!
I like the chalkboard...a tween look with a little whimsy!

                                                             (Maureen Toribio)

The shutters add a touch of romance... This is a pretty look...
(I don't think daddy is ready for his little girl to be ready for romance!)

                                                           (fleamarketstyletrixie)

This is a contender with a variety of color choices...

                                                                         (sford)

Again tweaking the colors and this one could work...

                                                                    (tendenza fl)

Now remember we are still looking at headboards for a tween...but I would love this one for me!!

                                                           ( Candice Olsen)

And this one is just timeless...

                                                          (via Sarah Richardson)

Or she may just go with budget-friendly decals...

                                                                      (dodi)

So many choices...
Of course the deciding vote will go to the "tween."  I know with mom's help she will make the right choice!  I'm so happy she is interested in design! Who knows we may have a future 'diy-er blogger'!!

See ya down the junkin' road!!

I love the one with a whole bunch of color blocks! I have never seen a chalkboard one, she could just paint that on the wall for a fake headboard....Let us know what tween decides!

This is funny because we had a girl and dad in yesterday at the antique mall I work at for the same thing. She was getting rid of an iron head board for a vintage 70's style. Which we didn't have. I thought that was and odd request from a young tween.
