Wow, Thrifty Showoffs!!

Good Morning Friends! It's another beautiful day! My friend and me have been busy on the junkin' road and found some great items to share with y'all!

I love to stage my finds with the lake as a background...

I found the frame at a local yard sale. "What are you going to do with that?" my friend shouts! "Oh, never mind I have an idea", I answer!!  Friend sometimes has problems seeing beyond the horizon, if ya know what I mean!!  The frame did look pretty bad. But I just knew it would paint out to look good. And I convinced my friend to cut a board, paint it with chalkboard paint, tack the board in place and voila, a chalkboard!

The little round table was a thrifty find at none other than, the thrift store. Priced...$5.00!!  What sold me on the table was the its sweet legs!!  #1 son helped me load it on the truck! I get so excited to see the end results of items I paint that I forget to take a before pic! But just trust me this table was rough!!  The color was an ivory color oops paint and a chocolate distressed top.

You've seen all over blogland the cute tool boxes so many are making...sooooo I challenged my friend to make a small one.  "No problem!", my friend responds!  I painted it out in the same oops paint, stenciled 'Flowers' on the side, a little distressing ...

For staging I pulled from my own stash...the creamy white sugar and creamer my aunt made in ceramics many years ago, the white cake stands...

I love, love to combine shades of white in my home!!

I'm Partying with several friends this week!  Grab your flops and come along...

It will be soooo much fun!!  Go check out these great blogs and tell 'em I sent ya down the junkin' road!!

Have a Blessed Day!! And see ya down the junkin' road!!

Great finds! I love what you did with that little caddy. My son just made something similar at Cub Scout camp yesterday. Wonder if he would notice if I hijacked it and stenciled something pretty on it :)

Don't you adore chalk board paint? I swear if my dogs would sit still for it, I'd dip them in it so I could send messages on them into my kid's messy rooms! This southern junk lovin' gal is now following you. Come say hello sometime

Oh my gosh, I've got a table exactly like that one, I think my mom bought it with S&H green stamps many long years ago :) and I totally want to paint it like you've painted yours. Love the way you staged it, love the new chalkboard, love the tool box "flowers" stenciling. You outdid yourself shopping this week, and I'm mighty proud of you :)
