Settled in the early 1800's, the town is located high upon a bluff overlooking 45000 acre Lake Eufaula. The town has a significant number of beautiful restored homes.
Driving through the historical district...(can't you just see all the tea parties held on that ahh-mase-ing front porch)
In the spring Eufaula holds its annual pilgrimage...
Arriving in the downtown area...
Thrifty shopping...this antique store held many treasures...
The Goodwill Store, located smack, dab, downtown, had this display in honor or the upcoming July 4th celebration!
My friend and me spent several days in this lovely area. (I will be telling you more later...) If you are in southeastern Alabama, along the Georgia line, stop by and visit Eufaula and all it has to offer! You won't be disappointed!!
Today I'm partying with Debbie...
And joining in the party over at...http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
for Outdoor Wednesday!
Grab a glass of ice tea, kick off your shoes, and enjoy the party!! (And tell them I invited you!!)
Have a Blessed Day!! And see ya down the junkin' road!!
